For the heck of it
Help International Medical Corps Feed Hungry Children
The other day, I got an unusual request. Chessia Kelley from the International Medial Corps (IMC) – a nonprofit organisation – sent me a mail asking me to blog about IMC on my website. IMC is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organisation dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programmes.

Chessia wrote in the mail that her organisation has been nominated to be one of the Top 25 in American Express’ Projects, “Saving the Lives of Malnourished Children.” Chessia said in the mail, “Our project was chosen out of 1,190 projects and is now eligible to receive up to $1.5 million to help feed hungry children. Because your blog, For The Heck Of It, has a loyal following, I thought this would be an issue you would want to share with your readers. I’ve put together this microsite explaining everything.”
So guys and gals – please log on to this site and vote for IMC. This is the least we can do to help malnourished children around the world. All it will take is just a click to help IMC bag this funding. If you have any queries, feel free to contact Chessie at ckelley[at]imcworldwide.org or chris[at]chrisfernando.net.

Hey Chris, Thank you so much for your support. We made the top five! Now if we all vote again before Oct. 14 we will have a great chance at winning the 1.5 million for starving children worldwide. Its so simple. Thanks again!
